- The PLUSFAX™ Printer does not show in the Printer List.
- The 'Generic Cover Page With Brand Advertising' option is disabled.
- The PLUSFAX™ Wizard does not appear after selecting the PLUSFAX™ Printer

- Cause: This may occur if the PLUSFAX Printer is inadvertently deleted by the user or during an upgrade.
- Remedy:
- If you do not have version 1.0.0.10 or higher of PLUSFAX™ for Windows please download the latest version from here.
- If this does not remedy the problem CLOSE PLUSFAX™ for Windows and
- Open Windows Explorer and navigate to C:\Program Files\Plusfax\
- Copy the file 'PF-CreateVirtualPrinter.TXT' to the folder C:\Program Files\Plusfax\system\
- Open PLUSFAX for Windows™ from the desktop icon or Windows Explorer file C:\Program Files\Plusfax\Plusfax.exe
- A Message Box will appear stating 'You have successfully set up the PLUSFAX Printer'. Click OK
- LOGOFF and RESTART YOUR COMPUTER
- Problem: You cannot find 'PF-CreateVirtualPrinter.TXT'
- Remedy:
- Open Notepad from 'Start' 'All Programs' 'Accessories'
- Type PLUSFAX
- Choose from the menu 'File' 'Save as' then type 'C:\Program Files\Plusfax\system\PF-CreateVirtualPrinter.TXT'
- Click OK and go to item 7 in this list
- Problem: You receive an error message instead of the message 'You have successfully set up the PLUSFAX Printer'
- Remedy: Contact PLUSFAX™ Customer Care

- Cause: This occurs if the sender is not a Registered PLUSFAX User or if the Sender's Pre-paid Balance is below €15.00.
- Remedy:
- Register for PLUSFAX™here or
- Topup your PLUSFAX™ account here
- Wait around 30 minutes for the Registration or Topup to be processed.
- Retry sending a FREE PLUSFAX™.

- Cause: This sometimes occurs if your PC is shutdown or power fails with the Wizard or the DIGITAL PLUSFAX application is still open. Also, some lesser known applications misbehave.
- Remedy:
- Open Windows Explorer
- Navigate to C:\Program Files\Plusfax\
- Open (Double-Click) PlusfaxDIG.exe
- A Message Box will appear stating 'This program can only be started using the PLUSFAX Printer'.
- Click OK
- Retry printing with the PLUSFAX Printer.
